The more I think about it, the more it seems reasonable to me that shorter downtimes might result in less things to fetch, update, and process (either from disk into RAM, or from HG's online databases, or both) if you shut it off 10 minutes ago, there's a lot less to sift through than if you shut it off yesterday.Īs one example, think of how large just the database of bases in the star system you're about to pop up in would be, given that it's tracking all the stuff being generated and used in/for every machine in every base on the nearest 2-6 planets. Another weird thing is the motherboard showed them run at two different clock speeds. MS Store programs no longer work at all- theycome up & window disappears. The motherboard recognized both sticks of ram because I saw them both in the UEFI settings. They wouldn't run in dual channel mode so only 4GB showed. Before I got this new 8gb stick of ram I had two 4GB sticks of ram given to me by my father. My second problem is that my motherboard refuses to run memory in dual channel mode. I can't even boot a ubuntu live CD through USB anymore because it doesn't go past the ubuntu loading screen.
